About 128 new occupations have been integrated into the South Australia Regional Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA).

Sectors Include:

  • Health
  • Education
  • Renewable Energy
  • Construction
  • Trades
  • Agribusiness
  • ICT

Both DAMAs extended until June 30, 2025.

  • The SA Regional DAMA now offers an increased annual nomination ceiling, from 750 to 2000 places per year.
  • South Australia retains concessions such as an age concession of up to 55 years
  • A 10% reduction in the Temporary Skilled Migration Income Threshold (TSMIT)
  • Concessions for English proficiency and work experience, enhancing accessibility for skilled migrants.
  • Removal of certain occupations like Grape Grower, Actors, Dancers, and Choreographers from the DAMAs due to changes in demand.
  • TSS visa holders nominated under a DAMA occupation can apply for nomination for the Employer Nominated Scheme (ENS) visa under the relevant South Australian DAMA, offering flexibility across different DAMAs.
