Alberta Holds Two PNP Draws, Invites 158 Candidates for Provincial Immigration

The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) invited 158 candidates through two separate draws held on May 13 and May 15, 2025.

Draw Summary:

The Tourism and Hospitality Stream, launched in 2024, is aimed at filling labour gaps in the industry. To qualify, candidates must:

• Have worked for a tourism or hospitality business in Alberta for at least 6 months
• Hold a valid full-time job offer
• Meet education and language requirements

This is the second time in 2025 that Alberta has invited candidates under this stream.

The Alberta Opportunity Stream draw on May 13 was also the second general draw of the year. Previous rounds focused on workers in fields like aviation and construction.

Alberta’s Nomination Update (2025):

• Total nominations available: 4,875
• Nominations issued so far: 2,077
