Justin Trudeau announced major changes to his cabinet and replaced Sean Fraser to Marc Miller to serve as the immigration Minister of Canada.
• Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tends to shuffle their cabinets every two years to refresh the policies and public communications.
• As per the Immigration Levels Plan 2023-2025, Canada seeks 500,000 permanent residence landings yearly by 2025.
• Marc Miller was elected to Canada's Parliament in 2015 and served as the Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations to support the independent Indigenous peoples of Canada.
• Sean Fraser will serve as the Minister of Housing Infrastructure and Communities.
